SSMYC Channel Chart
AS OF . . January 2006
This chart is a guide to help prospective skippers choose an open frequency when buying a radio for racing in the local area. Many skippers do have extra crystal sets and conflicts can be resolved easily. *Note: ANY Channel used by a NON-Victoria boat can be used by a Victoria skipper
Please, if you plan to sail with us,
let us know if you purchase a radio, what channel it's on, and for what
class of boat. Send Channel Chart updates to "frequency @ ssmyc dot org"

*Note: ANY Channel used by a NON-Victoria boat Can be used by any Victoria skipper **Note: Some folks have determined that major interference can be caused by two radios operating 23 channels apart in close proximity (like we stand shoulder to shoulder sometimes). As long as two Victoria's don't share a 23 channel separation, we should be OK. |
