YUKON:
THIS IS OUR HOME BASE, LOCATED IN THE CITY OF YUKON PARK, From OK City, west on
I-40 to the North Czech Hall / South Cornwell Rd Exit, At the end of the off
ramp, turn left onto NW 10th St, Cross North Czech Hall / South Cornwell Rd at
the intersection Just past Albertson's and before the overpass, turn right onto
S. Holly Ave
Pass by the south park entrances and the Community Center, after S. Holly turns
north, take the next exit Right into the park, You'll pass by a playground into
the parking lot and we sail. This pond has wind protection from
all sides, and is a challenge to even the best of sailors. Winds can swirl along shore yet blow hard 10’
off shore. Nice challenging pond to make
your skills and nerves peak.
MUSTANG: POND IS LOCATED BETWEEN MUSTANG AND CZECH HALL ROAD ON SW 59TH
ON SOUTH SIDE OF ROAD. Bring a chair as
there is a goose population there. Nice flat shore line with very few trees,
wind is unobstructed in all directions, good light air pond. Pavilion
and tables near shoreline.
STEVE’S WHOLESALE: TAKE I-240 TO SANTE-FE, SOUTH ON SANTE-FE JUST
PAST WALMART, YOU WILL SEE STEVE’S WHOLESALE (BLUE BUILDING) ON LEFT SIDE OF
ROAD (EAST), POND IS LOCATED RIGHT BEHIND IT. PARK ON ROAD OR LOT BUT PLEASE
LEAVE ROOM FOR TRAFFIC FLOW. Slightly
sloping shore line with wind protection on north side of pond, and some
protection on east and west sides from nearby buildings ~ 100yrds away, south
side is unobstructed. Clean air can be
expected most days
